Early single hand Antique longcase
An early single hand oak Longcase Clock running on a 30 hour movement.
This was originally made as a Lantern Clock, Circa 1640. The 14/15 hour movement, with verge and large balance wheel was converted to a long pendulum with a very fine anchor escapement some time around 1690.
